JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support for UTSW Medical Group. In this role you will prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial reports for the leadership and departments. We are seeking an accomplished financial professional with deep expertise in healthcare finance with data and business intelligence capabilities to extract, model, and provide comprehensive financial data analytical reports using SQL Server and MS Excel. This pivotal role will design and implement report automation including Power BI dashboards. Please note, this position does not support H1B visa sponsorship.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

Bachelor's Degree In Business or Healthcare Administration, Information Services or equivalent.
- Experience
4 years of financial, information technology or accounting experience including advanced skills with relevant operating systems and hardware experience required.

JOB DUTIES
- Provides financial decision support for senior university management, clinical departments, and billing operations.
- Identifies areas of financial risk and alerts departments of unfavorable trends. Develops and/or modifies existing reporting tools in order to find the root cause and addresses them.
- Organizes financial data used for forecasting and modeling using Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.
- Provides quality assurance over key system master files, to insure accurate financial results.
- Publishes interactive data sets to a shared drive for use by clinical departments and other key members of the organization. Designs automated reports allowing users to drill down to area(s) of interest.
- Completes adhoc complex projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
